I keep seeing people recommending the Sloppy Stage 2 cam...Guys WAIT, theres better!!! Sloppy himself Matt Happel has IMPROVED the original SS2 AND he made A BETTER CAM thats also CHEAPER!!! He worked directly with Richard Holdener(the guy behind all of HotRodMagazine's part testing and ALL of the best LS parts comparison videos and dyno testing) to improve it and get as much as they could with it, gaining more power upstairs and stopping the shortcomings that 10+ year old design had. Giving more flexibility for boost, NA breathing, and better torque/power ACROSS THE BOARD
Its called "The Best Cam". This leaves TONS of room for PTV clearance, can still use the classic PAC 1218 springs, and has gentle lobe curves to not wear springs out. $190 for import made version(same company Summit uses for their cams) $350 for USA made version. Both hardened to same specs and checked. Every dyno test ive seen has shown a nice improvement!

"It's Finally here, for 2022 release we present the sloppy mechanics camshaft, a long running joke, and sometimes not, is when people ask me "what is the best cam" so with here it is, Named "The Best Cam" by Richard Holdener envision him doing air quotes this replaces the Sloppy Stage Two( SS2 ) as the all around best performer camshaft for all motor, nitrous, turbo, blower.
I loved the SS2 but its been getting harder to get ahold of, and there is room for improvement on it. Also the price, I worked with some of the best people in the business to create this and bring a cheap effective cam to the slops, without having to roll the dice with "china cams" etc. This cam is modeled to be the sloppy stage 2 without the shortcomings and better power upstairs. Gains 63whp and 34wtq on a 5.3/60e truck
The domestic version is an American made and shipped camshaft.
The import is obviously made overseas but they are all quality and hardness checked to the same specs."
